Alison Day Designs
Inspired by the natural world and a love of storytelling
Alison Day is an Oxfordshire based artist and designer. Inspired by flora and fauna, travel, cat antics and a love of storytelling. The resulting work is a blend of digital and analogue.
She studied graphic design at university, but avoided working in the industry, preferring the more hands on creative pursuits of papier-mâché and mosaics for her artworks. It was not until she moved to the Netherlands that she started using her design skills, as publications editor for an expatriate magazine and set up her design business, Alison Day Designs. Additions to her repertoire include illustration, writing for publications, voiceover work and more recently surface pattern design.
An experienced voiceover with almost 20 years experience and with clientele throughout Europe, Alison’s voice has been heard on museum tours, in audio educational books, corporate films and documentaries. (Sound bites)
